Laffitte Capital Management is an Asset Management company specialised in Alternative Funds. The company is authorised and regulated by the French regulator (Autorité des Marchés Financiers) since october '07 (agreement number GP07000048).

The four founders are proprietary traders. They have a strong experience  in financial markets and worked together for 9 to 19 years in a major French banking group.

They created and developed for this institution an arbitrage pole: Merger Arbitrage and Index Arbitrage in Europe and in the United States. The team has also a strong experience in Equity Finance and short selling.

In 2007, after 14 years of profitability, the team decided to offer their expertise to clients and to open their own alternative Funds.

The first Fund Laffitte Risk Arbitrage Ucits is a Ucits III Fund focused on Merger Arbitrage (announced deals) in Europe and in the United States. This Fund is regulated by the French Markets regulator which is a guarantee of risk control and proctection for the investors.

Laffitte Capital Management launcged a second Ucits III Fund Laffitte Equity Arbitrage, an event driven fund focused on arbitarge linked to merger arbitrage and arbitarge linked to other corporate actions (capital structure).

                                                               In 2011, BNP Paribas Investment Partners invested in 9.99% stake of the company.
