- Merger arbitrage in Europe and the United States. This type of arbitrage has a double approach. An in-depth analysis and a multi- criteria model which facilitates decision making. It also uses a historical data base with more than 500 indicated strategies of Mergers and Acquisitions in which the team has had previous trading positions.
- Index arbitrage takes advantage of the price differences between stock index futures and underlying stocks. (This is more commonly known as basis arbitrage). The team intervened in this type of arbitrage with the stock market indexes and sector indexes traded throughout Europe.
- Re-financing and Short Selling. Numerous implemented strategies require Short Selling that is necessary for uncorrelated fund performances compared to the reference index. The management team has an extensive network of lenders dealing in securities in Europe as well as in the United States which allows them to have the best refinancing options for their positions and to optimize their operation.
